Students VS Teachers Soccer Game

One of the objectives of Harmony Day in 2017 was to promote a key understanding of how sports bring people together by sharing a common goal.Sport is a natural partner in development and peace. It teaches cooperation, sharing, respect, discipline, tolerance and fair play. Sportsmanship promotes respect for one’s opponent.

On Thursday the 23rd of March, Grade 4 and 5 children versed the teachers in a friendly game of soccer. The spectators witnessed the respect and cooperation as they watched the players shake hands with the opposition. The spirit of fair play was most certainly awarding. Both the teachers and students had an awesome time. The teachers won the game with a score of 5 to 3.

Twilight Movie Night

On the 10th March, we held our annual Twilight night where we watched Finding Dory. On the night there were art activities, sausage sizzle, gozleme, cake stall, snow cones, popcorn, fairy floss and more. There was an exceptional turnout and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you to the students, teachers and parents for their assistance in making it a success!
